All was good until I had to sign up to save my measurements. I dont need another thing to login too, i have enough already. Had i just been able to order the shirt everything would have been fine.
This is not a review of the app but of the products. My first order, a shirt fit so perfectly, i immediately ordered a second shirt. When it arrives, it was off. The wrists were about an inch off, the neck slightly less than an inch off. Ordered a remake. Now the remake was WAY OFF. It's like the made the shirt for some other person. The wrists were 2 INCHES off, the neck an inch and a half off. And this was after i talked to someone at MTAYLOR and explained to them that the first shirt was perfect, just to use those same measurements. After my first order, i had really high hopes and was already planning on at least 2 shirts a month until i replaced my whole wardrobe, but 2 missed orders in a row, and the misses have gotten worse, i don't think so.
Mtailor have a great proprietary software for measurement. I must say their measurement is quite accurate. But quality of fabric is atrocious. I read an article about this company's shirt quality was mentioned as subpar.
Their software messures me better than a tailor with a tape measure... Yeah right. The software is great, but that's just simply false advertisement. For the same price I can find greater variety, custom fitted, hand measured, and higher quality products.
Over priced clothes made in china
The app itself is easy to use and the selection is good, although the technology behind their measuring system doesn't produce acceptable results. I am on my 3rd remake of a simple dress shirt, with multiple emails back and forth with customer service, attempting to fix the issues. So far none of the shirts have fit anywhere close to as well as dress shirts I've had tailored in person. They finally admitted that their tailors aren't able to do certain alterations such as "darting" or "pleating". For athletically fit people, this means no matter how many times you try, they will never be able to fit you properly. If these issues were remedied, I would consider trying them again.
Beware of spam with this app. If you open it and browse you get an email about what you looked at. If you put something in your cart, but don't purchase immediately you get spam. And just in general expect spam every 2 to 3 days. I did the measurements and they were WAY off. I am a bigger guy and have worn 44x32 pants for years. They sent me that I should be wearing a 66x38. Umm no. I'm not my grandpa I don't wear my pants up over my nipples.
Hoped it would have appropriate prices, first look, $100 for a pair of jeans..I understand they are "tailored" to your fit, but for that much I'd rather go to store and try them on to make sure it's right. Too high a cost IMO
Bummed as I just downloaded this app after seeing a commercial stating that shirts started at $49.00, but upon downloading the app the cheapest shirt is $69.00... what's up with that?!
Customer service was very quick and friendly when I contacted them about returning my items, which is why I'm giving this an extra star. Otherwise, fit was awful, especially for the jeans, and styles are fairly plain and really limited, and prices are expensive.
Size was not correct in the chest, arms, waist, and even in the shoulders. If you want tailored clothing then go see one, because this app is no tailor. Overpriced shirts that don't fit properly.
After clicking “get measured” the app hangs for me. A black screen appears with flickering 'back button' on it and nothing happens further. Can you fix that?
