clothes fit well but after first wash they shrink, esp the shirts. the jeans make it for two washes and then cant wear them. need to improve the cloth quality so it does not shrink. otherwise good concept.
After reading all the reviews I want to make a few comments. 1) This is supposed to be customized clothing, so don't say I can buy a shirt at walmart cheaper. Compare prices to a tailored shirt. 2) lots of complaints about bad phone application. so be careful if you use it. Apparently you can not update it with change of address or multiple users A
Need to fix your app. I went into the jeans section and cannot go back to shirts now. It goes jeans only now and when I cancel and user the shop button it just keeps going back to jeans. No way to return to main menu.
Well, the app is good. Easy to use and figure out. Not interested in only shopping the MTailor brand though, which is all they have available within the app and not at the best of prices.
When you make clothing for women, especially business wear such as pantsuits, suits, blazers, corduroys, chinos, blouses (shirts), etc., as Land's End used to do over the Internet 15 to 20 years ago, I would definitely go all in. But I already have the jeans I want. I was hoping to choose nice print shirts tailored to my personal preferences and size as I did years ago, but you don't offer that for us. When you do, I'll be back. Right now, I am very disappointed.
Cool concept, too bad the clothes are incredibly basic. In addition, unless you maintain the same body composition for long periods of time having rigid form fitting clothing isn't ideal as it can become uncomfortable and quite expensive. I look forward to what this company has to offer in the future.
started off nice but shrank over time. after a few months the button on my pants was two inches away from the clasp , I had not gained weight. the legs are now about 1 inch off my shoe when the pants are resting at the right hip height. recently I bought a shirt, and it feels like the sleeves are too short. in general I think I'm just going to go back to shopping at men's warehouse or some place where I can get tailored clothes. MT isn't significantly cheaper or faster.
I had high hopes for this clothing, especially given the extreme markup typically reserved for exceptional quality. The good: Fit, they fit well, not perfect but close enough. The bad: Fabric quality and Price. For the price you pay, i'd expect a higher percentage of cotton, really it SHOULD be 100% cotton. This isn't that. They advertise 98% denim 2% elastane, but the fabric feels like it's much more than 2%. The fabric has a lot of stretch, which makes me question the longevity and durability. I feel like I could've walked into Target or Khols and gotten similar quality jeans, they wouldn't fit as nice, but the quality of the material is about the same. I also have to mention the smell. These jeans smell terrible. I have washed them three times and now the washer smells terrible too. Whatever chemicals are causing the smell I'm sure it isn't healthy.
I was not able to switch between man/woman after making the initial selection. It would be great to have the measurements of my wife logged and know that something I pick out as a gift will fit 100% as well as order myself a shirt at the same time. Quite disappointed in this aspect of the program. This has prompted me to uninstall the program unfortunately. I hope this lack of a feature will be addressed very soon. I have sent out an email explaining my discomfort with this, and am awaiting a swift reply.
Bought my first custom T-Shirt. Tailor technology works pretty good and price is right but t-shirt quality is poor. Tees are not soft and colors are ugly. If they could enhance their tee quality I would've sent back for a redo to get it right but with the uncomfortable nature of the tee it just wasn't worth it.
The jeans I ordered were a weird stretchy material which I thought I could get used to but I could not. The belt loops were too far apart and my belt slipped off the waistband above the button. Looked terrible. Customer service had me take multiple photographs and pushed back in an effort to save the sale but the fact is it was a poor fitting and poorly designed garment. The worst part was when they were telling me I was wearing the garment incorrectly. Oh sure. Blame the customer.
Downloaded the app and tried to do the measurements 3 different times, attempted the video measurement a total of 6 times withing the three tries, to get the video right. Each time the measurements came out different, and none of them were right. Often it was off by 6 inches in most spots. I didn't trust it to get the right measurements and so I haven't bothered to continue with the app.
